About

I’m Tim, a trained Architectural Carpenter Joiner who is currently studying towards a Ba in Furniture Design and Make at Rycotewood in Oxford.

I was formally trained with an apprenticeship of Architectural Carpentry and Joinery at Oxford University Joinery Department where I spent 2.5 years learning a variety of hand and machine skills from traditional craftsmen. I spent time learning how to restore Grade listed Oak sash windows in the Clarendon building alongside fitting fire doors in the Chemistry department,

I am currently working part time for St Aldates church as their maintenance officer alongside studying for my Degree.

I carry out a range of private work to commissions in my free time, whether it is domestic site carpentry or restorations and repairs; let me know and I can see what I can do for you!
